Hutong NYC delivers an outstanding dining experience with its elegant ambiance and exceptional cuisine. The Peking Duck is a must-try, perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the dim sum is fresh and expertly prepared. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. The sophisticated cocktail and wine selections complement the meal perfectly. I highly recommend it for a memorable meal in NYC.

Hutong is like an art deco jewel box that serves elevated, refined Chinese cuisine. The vibe, though, is laid-back and welcoming. My favorite selections from the dinner menu include the Peking duck (a must-have), the golden prawns, the wasabi okra and the calamari flowers. The eggplant tempura, while artfully plated like all the dishes, does not have a crunchy batter that one may expect. The Chinese broccoli is understated and well-seasoned. Overall the service is polite and unhurried but it would have been nice to have been also offered the restaurant week menu than having to ask for it.

Originally visiting for a restaurant week experience, I enjoyed it so much I came back for the live jazz dinner with family and it was a very memorable night. From the servers remembering our food allergies to our incredible table near the band, everything was exceptional. I highly suggest sampling the dim sum…some of the most unique I’ve ever experienced. Worth the visit!

I absolutely love this place! Sublime Chinese food with amazing dim sum, but the menu goes far beyond that. The ambiance is beautiful—upscale yet intimate. It’s my favorite spot in Midtown for a lunch or dinner with friends or a business meeting.

The food is delicious. We went there for restaurant week and tried the Kung Po chicken, Steamed Cod, hot and sour soup and chicken salad. The Kung Po chicken is the best I’ve had. It is juicy and full of flavor. The fried rice is super fragrant and not too oily at all. Another highlight for us are their desserts. We got the Bao and Soy milk and the Childhood. The caramel for both are perfect and the soy milk ice cream is really delicious.

Classy ambiance, great for special occasions or a work lunch/dinner in midtown east. We loved the peking duck and dim sum sampler. Chilean sea bass was also delicious. Service was speedy and attentive, I would bring my parents here!

Hutong New York consistently impresses with its exquisite cuisine and stellar service. The half roasted duck is a masterpiece, boasting perfectly crisp skin and tender, flavorful meat. The spinach dumplings, delicate and bursting with fresh flavor, are always a delight. The service is impeccable, attentive, and elevates the entire dining experience. Five stars, without a doubt.

FOOD: 4 (Must try duck! Beautiful food decorations and colors.)) DECOR: 5 (Beautiful interior) SERVICE: 3 (kind employees but untrained employees. Should raise the quality of service. They don't explain what the food is. Especially if the food is spicy, they should remind again. My 4 year old daughter ate spicy food and wasn't a good experience. Also, please give water first! No water when my daughter ate spicy food! Had to go around to ask water from the server.
